DJ Heckes gave a great seminar on using all of the new technologies for marketing: Twitter, Facebook, Blogs you name it. If you are trying to tap into these it is well worth the fee. Addressing my comment this morning of Tanda blogging I think it would be fantastic. Very much a Julia/Julie type blog where you are living it and while I have not located my handout to verify, I am sure that DJ advised not to co-mingle subjects, revenue streams, etc. Not only does it give each one seperation it doubles your exposure. I also believe she said longer, not shorter on blog entries. While the average person doesn't spend much time on web pages these days and you have to be careful, the blog reader has to be captured and held. Tell them something, get their attention, get them to follow your story and also 800+ words gets you on the better search criteria. She seems to have a great grasp of these tools and uses them very effectively. You can check out here stuff at her blog "The Marketing Guru". She will also have a book out soon!
